Sunbathing Advice
Did you know that sunbathing safely is possible?
Apply SPF 30 or greater 15 minutes before going outside. Make sure you apply a minimum of one ounce of sunscreen to your entire body. That is equivalent to the size of a shot glass or a golf ball.
Remember to apply SPF on your hands, feet, lips, and the top of your head if it isn't covered by hair.
Steer clear of tanning beds. In addition to being hazardous, the majority of tanning beds seldom use UVB light to promote the creation of vitamin D.
Stay out of the sun between 11:00 and 15:00. When it gets hot, take breaks in the shade.
If you plan to spend a lot of time in the sun, stay hydrated.
Consume tomatoes since they are a great source of lycopene.
